Meet Torch!
Breed: Bully mix
Age: 16 weeks old
Sex: Male
Torch is a playful, confident pup who loves other dogs and proudly believes he’s a big boy. He has been around cats and calmly ignores them. After he’s had his fun, he’s just as happy to settle down and relax.
Torch is food-motivated and enjoys showing off for treats, making training both fun and rewarding. His potty training is progressing well and he’ll go to the door when he needs to go. He sleeps through the night, takes naps, and eats in his crate, which he sees as his own safe space away from the action.
Torch would thrive in a home familiar with bully breeds; someone committed to continuing his training and helping him grow into a great ambassador for his breed.

Meet Zeus
Breed: Mixed breed
Age: 5 years old
Sex: Male - neutered
Zeus is a special boy we’re introducing a little earlier than usual, as his foster family continues to support and work with him. We don’t expect the perfect home to come along overnight, but we believe in starting the search early for the right match.
Currently living in a multi-dog foster home, Zeus has shown he can coexist well in a structured environment. He may display some insecurity at times, especially in new or unfamiliar situations, but with consistency and guidance, he continues to make steady progress. He has proven he can coexist with small dogs and been appropriate with large dogs, though he has shown some discomfort around extra-large, intact males.
In the home, Zeus has been non destructive and can be trusted when left confined to one room.
Where Zeus needs the most support: when first introduced to new people he can be fearful. When he first arrived to care he would hid on his bed and low growl. He would prefer to keep to himself. We are not sure if uprooted again if he would present similar. It took him about a week to come around and minimal contact forced on him. Because of this, he will need a home that understands the importance of allowing him the time and space to decompress at his own pace, without pressure. Without the pitying. He needs someone who will respect his cues and let him ‘just be’ to learn you aren’t going to force interaction he isn’t comfortable with.
Zeus would do best in a calm, adult-only home. Ideally, his future family would include a small, stable dog companion to help build his confidence. He will need an adopter who understands that he’s still a work in progress, someone who is patient, committed, and open to working with a trainer (which will be provided if needed).
At this time, applicants must be located within the Ottawa area.
Zeus isn’t looking for just any home he’s looking for the right one and we are here to help him find that

Meet Murphy!
Breed: Great Dane
Age: 1.5 years old
Sex: Male
Murphy is a one-and-a-half-year-old blue Great Dane who was surrendered through no fault of his own, and he has quickly proven himself to be an absolute love bug, despite being convinced he’s a 140-pound lap dog.
This gentle giant has done wonderfully meeting new people and is great with kids, as well as dogs of all sizes, making him a well-rounded companion. While he isn’t crate trained, Murphy has shown himself to be non-destructive when left loose, both in his previous home and in foster care. He thrives on companionship and truly enjoys having his people nearby.
Murphy is a very sweet and affectionate boy, though he will benefit from some continued work on his leash manners. He is not yet neutered, but this will be included in his adoption fee.
Untested with cats, grew up with 9lbs morkie.
For anyone who loves the Great Dane breed and is looking for a loyal, gentle companion, Murphy could be the perfect match.

Meet Tapper!
Breed: Chihuahua/Chinese Crested mix
Age: 10 months
Sex: Male
The name Tapper comes from his gait, that sweet, awkward little rhythm that makes his feet go tap tap, tap tap as he moves. It’s as if he’s lightly drumming the floor with determination and joy.
We don’t know whether his neurological difference is something he was born with or something he acquired due to injury. What we do know is this: he has been seen by a veterinarian.
Bloodwork has been completed and came back within normal limits. We do not believe he is in pain. He urinates and defecates on his own. He has a healthy appetite, though he does need to gain some weight.
Because he appears comfortable and stable, we will not be pursuing advanced diagnostics such as CT or MRI. Budget is certainly a factor — but more importantly, additional imaging would not necessarily change his condition or our approach.
Our focus is on what matters most: his happiness, his comfort, and his quality of life.
Tapper would thrive in a home that understands his needs. *One that doesn’t pity him, but instead sees him for who he truly is: a curious, bright little soul with a few physical limitations.*
He would love nothing more than to join adventures tucked safely in a bag, while also tap-tap-tapping his way around the house. Stairs and jumping are not for him, but flat ground? That’s his runway.
He is not house-trained at this time. He currently lives with both small and large dogs and does well. We anticipate no issues with cats.
Because he is fragile, an adult-only home would be ideal.
He has received his initial vaccines.
Some dogs need saving.
Some dogs need fixing.
Tapper needs someone who sees him, not as a limitation, but as a life worth loving.

Meet Shelby!
Breed: Chocolate lab mix
Age: 8 weeks old
Sex: Female
Little Shelby is a bright active puppy with equal amounts of sass and sweetness. This wee thing looks forward to outings with her foster brothers and even though they are much larger than her, she is eager to join the fun. After a good romp, Shelby is ready to chill in her crate or cuddle up in your lap.
Shelby has a great start with potty and crate training and is becoming more confident each day. She will need consistency and guidance as she continues to learn and grow.
In terms of size, we cannot predict exactly, but we do expect her to be on the smaller side: a perfect little pocket chocolate!
