Meet Loki!
Breed: Border Collie
Age: 2 years old
Sex: Male
Loki can only be described as the most perfect boy. He is the kind of dog who makes life easy. He’s social, eager to learn, and has an amazing balance of drive and an off switch.
Here’s what makes him so special:
• Social with dogs and would thrive in a multi-dog home.
• Friendly and social with people.
• Off-leash trained (his training can be transferred to his future family with a couple of private lessons).
• Walks beautifully on leash.
• No resource guarding tendencies.
• Great toy drive and loves to work.
For a Border Collie, Loki has a lovely medium energy level. He settles well in the house but is always up for an adventure. He’d be an incredible match for someone who wants to have fun dabbling in dog sports, hiking, or training without living with a full-time crackhead Border Collie.
He’s truly a dream dog, and I can’t wait to see him find the family he deserves.

Meet Lucie!
Breed: Mixed breed
Age: 2.5 years old
Sex: Female - spayed
Lucie is a beautiful 2½-year-old mixed-breed female looking for a place to call home. Weighing approximately 40 pounds, she's what we like to call a total "marshmallow." If she could, she'd happily be pet, or cuddle up, all day long.
She has made a wonderful start with her crate training and has handled the many recent changes in her life with remarkable resilience.
Lucie has done very well with other dogs. The only management she requires (at this time) is being fed separately from other dogs. We do this as a precautionary.
She has not been tested with cats, so any introductions should be approached cautiously.
Lucie loves getting out for adventures just as much as she enjoys curling up on the couch for a relaxing evening.
If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion and are willing to give her the time, love, and patience she deserves, Lucie may be the perfect addition to your family.

Meet Austin!
Breed: Mixed breed
Age: 9 months old
Sex: Male -neutered
Originally rescued from the streets of Hawaii alongside his sister Allie and several other dogs, Austin is beginning his journey toward finding a forever family. Austin is medium sized, approximately 35 pounds.
Austin is a fun, bouncy young dog with a wonderfully sweet temperament and an impressive off switch for his age. He is excellent in his crate and has been absolutely bombproof with every dog he has met so far.
He has not yet been tested around cats but we have minimal suspicion for prey drive. (He’s too soft!)
While Austin has so many wonderful qualities, we are proactively searching for the right home because we know he will need continued confidence-building support.
New environments are VERY overwhelming for him. He will follow along on leash in these environments but may freeze and is nervous meeting NEW people. He takes times to warm up. Austin is a soft soul who chooses flight over fight when he feels unsure.
There is not a mean bone in his body, he simply needs patient guidance to help him feel safe and secure in the world.
To set Austin up for long-term success, we are requiring that any approved adopter budget for a minimum of three training sessions with one of our recommended trainers.
** OUR SECOND REQUIREMENT AT THIS TIME IS ANOTHER WELL BALANCED DOG IN THE HOME **
Building confidence is going to be a key part of his development, and we want to ensure both Austin and his future family have the tools they need to succeed.
In the meantime, Austin will continue working on his confidence in foster care while enjoying all the things puppies should: playing, learning, and discovering that the world isn't such a scary place after all.

Allie is a fun-loving young dog with a moderate to higher energy level and a spicy personality that shines once she comes out of her shell. She loves a good game of tug, enjoys being active, and absolutely adores other dogs. She is excellent in her crate and has been fantastic with every dog she has met so far.
She has not yet been tested around cats.
She is medium sized, approximately 35 pounds.
While Allie has so many wonderful qualities, we are proactively searching for the right home because we know she will need continued confidence-building support.
New environments can be overwhelming for her, and she can be nervous when meeting new people. She takes time to warm up and build trust. Once she feels comfortable, her playful, sassy personality emerges and she becomes a very entertaining companion.
To set Allie up for long-term success, we are requiring that any approved adopter budget for a minimum of three training sessions with one of our recommended trainers.

Meet Jake!
Breed: Black lab
Age: 10 years old
Sex: Male
Jake is a 10‑year‑old Lab mix with a gentle soul and a constantly wagging tail. He came into rescue through no fault of his own and knows nothing but love. He’s an easygoing guy who loves napping, leisurely walks. Jake is working on his leash manners and prefers some freedom to smell the roses along the way. He's people and dog friendly and previously lived with a cat, and may be able to again with slow introductions.
Jake would thrive in a low‑energy, detached home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort. He has some separation anxiety that has improved, but he’s non‑destructive and does well when left loose in the house. If you're home, he will sure to be right by your side.
He’s currently on Apoquel for symptoms of itching and fur loss which have resolved. We've changed his food and he may be able to stop taking Apoquel in the future with support from a veterinarian.
Jake has lived some big changes in the last few weeks and with time, love and patience, he is settling in and proving to be a sweet, gentle, and loving companion. He's looking for a family that has the patience to continue supporting him through these changes and show him the love he deserves in his golden years.

Meet Zeus!
Breed: Mixed breed
Age: 5 years old
Sex: Male - neutered
Zeus is a special boy, whom over the last fourth months in care, has really come out of his shell. But it’s time he settle in somewhere permanent.
Currently living in a multi-dog foster home, Zeus has shown that he can thrive in a structured environment. He coexists well with small dogs and has been appropriate with large dogs, though he has shown some discomfort around intact males.
Around the house, Zeus is quiet, low-energy, and incredibly easy to care for. He is fully house-trained, non-destructive, and can be trusted loose in the home or confined to a single room when left alone.
When Zeus first arrived, he was fearful of new people. With time and patience, he has made wonderful progress. He is now neutral around strangers and may quietly approach for affection, but he appreciates people moving at his pace. Slow, calm introductions are important, and fast movements or reaching abruptly for his collar should be avoided until he has built trust.
Zeus would do best in a calm, adult-only home. Ideally, he would have a small, confident canine companion to help continue building his confidence, though the right home is most important.
If you're looking for a low-maintenance companion who enjoys a peaceful lifestyle, Zeus may be the perfect match.
At this time, applicants must be located within the Ottawa area.
